We cater for all dietary and religious requirements.
Friends and relatives are welcome to visit at any time. Normanby House places great emphasis on the happiness and contentment of our residents and we are always keen to hear feedback as we strive to keep improving our care.
We hold regular relatives’ meetings and also publish a bi-monthly newsletter, as well as posting news, pictures and updates on our website and social media accounts – Facebook and Twitter.
Normanby House is staffed by highly-trained and compassionate staff and everything is geared towards ensuring our residents’ happiness.

Saint Cecilia’s believes in the value of providing enjoyable and stimulating activities for our residents to enjoy. So at Normanby House we put together a regular programme of activities for our residents to enjoy daily in our home and in the local community. We work in partnership with the National Association for Providers of Activities for Older People (NAPA) and encourage activities that enhance our residents’ lifestyle, health and wellbeing. Residents’ preferred activities, interests and abilities are discussed when they move in and an agreed plan ensures that these requests are fulfilled. Our residents’ suggestions for activities also help shape the planning process. We organise supervised day trips to leisure facilities and places of interest as well as enjoying social events in the home, including themed restaurant evenings, arts and crafts, quizzes and regular entertainers.
