Saint Cecilia’s Care Group is an award-winning, family-run organisation providing care and support across North Yorkshire. As we continue to grow and innovate, we are looking for a dynamic and design-savvy Marketing & Design Executive to join our team. This newly created role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of our Group’s visibility and communications – both in the care sector and the wider community.
About the Role
You’ll be based at our busy Head Office, supporting the Group and its associated businesses across all marketing, communications, and PR activities.
This is a hands-on, creative role ideal for someone with strong graphic design ability, a sharp eye for branding, and a genuine passion for purpose-driven marketing. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging visuals and delivering compelling written content that reflects our values. Strong writing skills are essential, particularly for drafting press releases, articles, and public-facing communications that represent our organisation professionally and positively.
You’ll play a central role in telling the story of Saint Cecilia’s – showcasing the work we do, the people we support, and our unwavering commitment to care, compassion, and community.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver creative, engaging marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Design and produce eye-catching graphics for social media, printed materials, newsletters, and digital campaigns using tools such as Adobe Illustrator (or similar).
Manage and grow our presence across social media, ensuring content is visually strong, brand-aligned, and engaging.
Produce high-quality written content including press releases, promotional materials, web updates, and campaign copy.
Support internal communications and staff engagement initiatives through visual and written content.
Support the Group’s public campaigning work by preparing national press releases and media content on behalf of the Chairman.
Build relationships with media outlets, suppliers, and community partners.
Contribute to the development and evolution of our brand identity and marketing strategy.
What We’re Looking For
A creative self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in design and content creation – confident in using Adobe Illustrator and/or similar design software to create polished, professional marketing assets.
At least 2 years’ experience in marketing, PR, or communications.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
A proactive, collaborative mindset with an appreciation for branding, consistency, and detail.
Interest in or understanding of the health and social care sector is a bonus.
