There was plenty to celebrate for Saint Cecilia’s Care Group at the ICG Conference in York yesterday, as several members of our team were recognised for their exceptional contribution to care.

The annual conference brought together professionals from across the care sector to share best practice, celebrate achievement and recognise those who go above and beyond in their roles. We were incredibly proud to see three of our colleagues receive well-deserved recognition on the day.

Best Housekeeper Award for Sarah Earp

A huge congratulations goes to Sarah Earp, Head of Housekeeping, who was named Best Housekeeper. Sarah’s commitment to maintaining welcoming, safe and comfortable environments across our homes plays a vital role in residents' wellbeing and quality of life. Her passion, attention to detail and high standards make a difference every single day, and this award is a fitting recognition of her hard work.

Best Chef Award for Laura Fielding

We were also delighted to see Laura Fielding receive the Best Chef award. Laura’s dedication to providing nutritious, appetising and resident-focused dining experiences has earned praise from residents, families and colleagues alike. From creating delicious menus to accommodating individual preferences and dietary needs, Laura consistently goes above and beyond to ensure mealtimes are something residents look forward to.

Recognition for Cherie Allardice

Adding to the celebrations, Cherie Allardice, Quality Support Manager, was named a runner-up in the inaugural Mike Padgham Bursary Award. This achievement recognises Cherie’s commitment to innovation, quality improvement and her ongoing passion for enhancing care standards. Being recognised in the first year of this prestigious award is a fantastic accomplishment and reflects the impact she continues to make across our organisation.

A Proud Day for Saint Cecilia’s

These achievements are a testament not only to Sarah, Laura and Cherie, but also to the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by colleagues across Saint Cecilia’s Care Group every day.

We are incredibly proud of their success and grateful for the positive difference they make to the lives of our residents, families and communities.

Congratulations to Sarah, Laura and Cherie on these outstanding achievements. Your passion, commitment and hard work continue to inspire us all. 💙
