We’re delighted to share some fantastic news – Jubilee House Nursing Home in Whitby has been rated ‘Good’ in its very first Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection!

This achievement is a huge milestone for everyone at Jubilee House and for the wider Saint Cecilia’s Care Group family. It reflects months of hard work, investment, and, most importantly, the dedication of our incredible care team.

Transforming Jubilee House

Since joining Saint Cecilia’s Care Group, Jubilee House has been on an exciting journey of improvement. From property upgrades and refurbishments to strengthening the care and support we provide, the home has seen positive changes across the board.

The CQC report highlighted our progress in several key areas, including:

✅ Skilled, experienced staff delivering consistent care
✅ Kindness, compassion, and respect at the heart of everything we do
✅ A clean, welcoming environment with an ongoing refurbishment programme

One resident told inspectors they felt safe and well cared for – and that means the world to us.

With this latest result, all Saint Cecilia’s Care Group homes across Scarborough, Whitby, and Pickering now hold a CQC rating of ‘Good’. It’s something we’re extremely proud of – and a clear reflection of our commitment to providing the very best care in our communities.
