It was a day to remember for everyone at Saint Cecilia’s Care Group, as our Managing Director, Aaron, successfully completed the London Marathon with an outstanding finish time of 3 hours and 20 minutes.
This remarkable achievement is made even more special by the fact that Aaron took on the challenge in support of Dementia UK, raising vital funds for a cause that is close to all of our hearts. We are incredibly proud of his dedication, determination and commitment - not only to the race itself, but to making a meaningful difference.
Reflecting on the experience, Aaron said:
“It’s amazing to have completed the marathon in 3 hours 20 minutes. It was a warm one, and I’m definitely feeling it this morning, but it was an incredible experience from start to finish. I’m so proud to have done it for Dementia UK – and a huge thank you to everyone who donated to support such an amazing cause.”
Back at Saint Cecilia’s Care Home, the support was just as inspiring. Residents and staff got behind Aaron every step of the way, creating fantastic handmade banners and coming together to watch the race live. The atmosphere was full of excitement, pride and encouragement, showing just how much this achievement meant to the whole community.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported Aaron throughout his journey. Your generosity has helped make a real difference.
Congratulations, Aaron - an incredible achievement and a moment we are all proud to celebrate.
