We're delighted to announce that renowned broadcaster Tanya Arnold will be joining us as the guest host for the Saint Cecilia's Care Awards 2026 at Scarborough Spa!

A familiar face to viewers across Yorkshire and beyond, Tanya has enjoyed an outstanding career in television and radio, breaking new ground as one of the first women to take on an on-screen sports reporting role at BBC Look North. Her passion, professionalism and natural ability to connect with people have made her one of the most respected broadcasters in the industry.

Over the years, Tanya has reported from some of the world's biggest sporting events, including two Olympic Games, a Commonwealth Games, and countless major sporting occasions. She is perhaps best known for her work presenting Rugby League for the BBC, with one of the highlights of her career being the hugely successful Rugby League World Cup 2022.

Since moving into freelance broadcasting and event hosting, Tanya has worked with organisations across sport, business, health and technology, leading high-profile events, panel discussions and podcasts. Her engaging style, warmth and ability to put people at ease make her the perfect host for an evening dedicated to celebrating the incredible achievements of our care teams.

Tanya continues to present and report on Rugby League for the BBC, while also appearing on the BBC News Channel and BBC World, bringing audiences the latest stories from the world of sport.

We're thrilled to welcome Tanya to this year's Care Awards and can't wait for her to help us celebrate the outstanding people who make a difference every day across the Saint Cecilia's family.
