Saint Cecilia’s staff recently swapped care plans for quiz plans as they headed out for a fantastic evening at The Hideout in Scarborough for our much-anticipated Staff Quiz Night.
The night was filled with laughter, friendly competition and plenty of head-scratching moments as teams battled it out across a range of quiz rounds. While some answers were impressively spot-on, others were… creative, to say the least - but that only added to the fun.
In true Saint Cecilia’s spirit, there were no losers on the night. Even the team finishing at the bottom of the leader board went home with a prize of their own - the much-coveted wooden spoon, awarded with pride and good humour. After all, it’s not about winning… it’s about taking part (and having a good laugh along the way).
One of the evening’s biggest highlights was seeing Rich finally get his hands on the famous ‘Dance Trophy’. Following his memorable dance moves at this year’s Saint Cecilia’s Care Awards, it seemed only right that his achievements were formally recognised once again. The trophy now has a very deserving home — at least until the next awards night!
The quiz night was a brilliant opportunity for staff to relax, unwind and enjoy each other’s company outside of work. Events like these are a reminder of the strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie that runs throughout Saint Cecilia’s, and why our staff community is so special.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
